Privacy Policy — Korean Ink

EduWithI Games · Effective date: July 2, 2026

Korean Ink ("the App") is a Hangul handwriting and pronunciation learning app developed by EduWithI Games. This policy explains what information the App uses and how it is handled. In short: we do not collect, store, or share your personal data on any server. Everything stays on your device.

1. Information We Do NOT Collect

2. Microphone & Voice Data

The App requests the RECORD_AUDIO (microphone) permission solely for its pronunciation practice feature. When you tap the microphone button, your speech is processed by your device's built-in speech recognition service (e.g., Google speech services on Android) to evaluate your Korean pronunciation.

3. Data Stored on Your Device

Your learning progress (scores, XP, streaks, custom word lists, and settings) is saved only in the App's local storage on your device. This data never leaves your device. Uninstalling the App permanently deletes all of it.

4. Children's Privacy

The App does not collect personal information from anyone, including children. It contains no ads, no in-app purchases, and no social features.

5. Third-Party Services

The App uses the operating system's text-to-speech and speech-recognition services to read words aloud and evaluate pronunciation. These are system components of your device and operate under your device provider's terms and privacy policy. The App itself sends no data to any third party.

6. Changes to This Policy

If the App's data practices ever change (for example, if ads or analytics are added in a future version), this policy will be updated and the effective date above will be revised before the change takes effect.
